Hi,

we are using VMProtect 3.0.8 for obfuscation of a Windows DLL. There we face an issue when our application crashes and a full dump file is getting created. This file is not usable for debugging purposes any more even if we revert the obfuscation with the MiniDumpFixer.
As long as we just create a mini dump during the crash our dump file can be deobfuscated.

Does your product support full dumps for crashing applications? Yes the full dump is getting created but we cannot deobfuscate it. Even with the latest MiniDumpFixer. We tried VMProtect version 3.3 as well but the behavior is the same.

Please notice that MiniDumpFixer doesn't fix obfuscation. It just modifies information about excecutable module inside DMP file (TimeDateStamp, CheckSum, etc.), so you can load a crash dump with the original (unprotected) module. About full dumps - unfortunately MiniDumpFixer doesn't support them.

we got same problem, can you help us how to debug crash use dump file?
