ordinal 1162 not foundin OLEAUT32.dll

Post by gkoukou »

Hi,

I have just bought vmprotect professional to protect my application.

After installation of the downloaded version 2.07 I get the following behavior after building the project

1. When I select the option "pack the output file" I get the error message
The ordinal 1009 could not be located in the dynamic link library oleaut32.dll

2. When I deselect this option the message changes to
The ordinal 1009 could not be located in the dynamic link library oleaut32.dll

The project is a vs2005 c++ .exe project

I have not incuded any procedure protection in this project

Just turned on global protection options (memory, import, packing)

The project was woking fine until yesterday while I was evaluating a version of vmprotect (2.05) I had found online.

It looks like it does not want to work with the paid version!!!

Best regards,

George

Please download your archive and install the latest version of VMProtect again.

Hi,

Thanks for replying. What do you mean download my archive?

Redownload from the link you sent to me a few hours ago?

And by reinstalling you mean uninstall/install or install over the previous version?

Thanks

Yes - uninstall previous version + download the file from your download link + install new version.

Ok,

Although I cannot claim I fully understand the reason I now have a working .exe, smaller by 8K in size.

Thanks a lot
