I've tried twice failed to create a small example. Sorry.
What means:
"VM - pmap_enter failed with resource shortage" ?
What are the changes on Mac between 1309 and 1395 that are crapping it?
Thanks,
Robert

Re: crashes under MacOS Monterey 12.0.1
1. Working with version 1309 the only issue was not to select Pack, and it was running properly on Monterey over M1 (with Rosetta). 2. Version 1395, sorry issues both with on Monterey over M1 (with Rosetta) and on x86 2.1 Version 1395 on Monterey over M1 (with Rosetta): Crashed Thread: 0 Dispatch qu...

Re: crashes under MacOS Monterey 12.0.1
Gentlemen,
This time Rosetta-2 is incompatible with the option:
"Pack the Output File"
Uncheck "Pack the Output File",
and it will not crash for you anymore.
Kind regards,
Robert

New Mac with ARM CPU Announced
Gentlemen,
Apple has announced new Mac computers with ARM CPU and migration roadmap from Intel.
VMProtect works for Mac with Intel CPU correctly.
Are there plans to follow this move on VMProtect side?
Thanks.
Kind regards,
Robert

Re: Несовместимость с macOS 10.14 "hardened runtime"?
Hi, If not resolved, try to add more exceptions. Kinda: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>com.apple.security.automation.apple-events</key> <true/> <key>com.apple.security.files.user-selected.read-write</key> <true/> <key>com.apple....

Re: Hardening Runtime at Mac Mojave - Initialization Error 1
Hi people, Those who do not want to submit app to Apple's Mac Store and need soon to notarize their Mac software and sign with hardening runtime, can get a temporary relieve and use: a) protected and packed by VMProtect app; b) next sign it with hardening runtime while adding entitlements from: http...

Re: Hardening Runtime at Mac Mojave - Initialization Error 1
Let's try another path. VMProtect Pro.app for Mac will face the same issue starting this October. To distribute it at Mac OS 10.15 and up, the "normal" options are: - get it into Mac App Store; - distribute it by yourself after notarization - here you will need "hardening runtime"...

Re: Hardening Runtime at Mac Mojave - Initialization Error 1
Unfortunately, this is not an option for upcoming in September/October Mac 10.15 Catalina. Starting from Catalina, Apple requires "notarization" for all 3-rd party software to run. Signing with hardening runtime is a pre-condition for notarization. I've tried without hardening runtime, and...

Hardening Runtime at Mac Mojave - Initialization Error 1
Hi, In newcoming Mac OS 10.15 (Catalina) Apple ads a new headache for developers: notarization. Notarization requires signing by development certificate and using hardening runtime (-o runtime +all other opts passed to signcode). When testing VMProtect-ed soft signed with hardening runtime at Mac OS...
