I have just purchased a machine Intel XEON X5650 CPU X 2 (2 CPUs) https://helloacm.com/review-hpz800-serv ... ia-quadro/
and the Hardware ID I've got are two:
4JlBzbUkAAgGsIFbwtffKyssoQM= and gGtknbUkAAhDJbqMBrCBW8LX3ys=
using the tool at https://helloacm.com/decode-hardware-id/
and you can see that it is different
[MACHINE0]
HOST=80024B4
CPU=CD4199E0
HDD=3A12C28
ETHERNET=5B81B004
ETHERNET=2BDFD7C0
[MACHINE1]
HOST=80024B4
CPU=9D646B80
HDD=8CBA2540
ETHERNET=5B81B004
ETHERNET=2BDFD7C0
Hardware ID inconsistent on Double CPU
Re: Hardware ID inconsistent on Double CPU
First HWID calculated by version 2.X, so it may differ from second HWID calculated by 3.X
Re: Hardware ID inconsistent on Double CPU
Yes,
but in this case, from the HW-ID, they are totally different.
if there is only 1 CPU, both versions produce different HW-ID strings but it doesn't matter if these strings mean the same PC.

Re: Hardware ID inconsistent on Double CPU
We recommend use 3.X instead of 2.X
Re: Hardware ID inconsistent on Double CPU
The problem is that no matter which VMP, it only picks up 1 CPU if there are 2 CPU in the hardware ID.
Re: Hardware ID inconsistent on Double CPU
Unfortunately I don't understand what you mean. Do you want to see both CPUs in HWID?
Re: Hardware ID inconsistent on Double CPU
yes.
it would be great that the HW-ID contains all the CPUs (just like Ethernet)

Re: Hardware ID inconsistent on Double CPU
It seems your CPUs are equal, so you see only one CPU in HWID.
