Pack the output in VMP3

Post by drlai »

Is it possible to specify the speed/compression-rate in 'pack the output' section?

I noticed that the performance of unpacking is slower than VMP2.13 (I basically turned off 'memory protection, 'import protection', 'resource protection' etc. and 'no debugger' and 'no virtual machine'.. but everytime the DLL is loaded, there is a slight delay. It didn't have the delay when using VMP2.13

Unfortunately it's impossible. Anyway please notice that 3.0 has a new VM and the speed can be slower than in 2.13 for the same code.

So, i don't use memory protection and basically turned off all markers.. so I guess nothing to do with new VM... why it is observed slower than 2.13? Is the unpacking algorithm changed? and in VMP2.13.5 you can select the level of compression rate, which is really good..
