I am very happy to have purchased the ultimate version of the product in two days.
Since my program needs to be used by many clients,
But unfortunately upload the protected program to virustotal.com
Tested and found that the detection rate is quite a lot.
Among them is the Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.B!ml with the 'Microsoft' engine.
Let me be the most troubled! This test will make the anti-virus software built into the Windows 10 operating system misidentify deleting my file.
My product was purchased yesterday and is genuine.
How can there be such a detection problem?
Code scheme, I only use mutations and virtual
Other please see the picture..
My Product VER:VMProtect Ultimate for Windows v3.4.0.1150

Re: Microsoft anti-virus misjudged my protected software...
Please contact the Microsoft's support directly and inform them about this bug. Unfortunatelyy we can't fix bugs in antiviruses.
Re: Microsoft anti-virus misjudged my protected software...
Since your vm core version has been upgraded to 3.0, the chances of anti-virus software misjudging have increased greatly.
An empty, non-functional mfc dialog program.
No protection with any vm tag is just a package and it has been misjudged by up to 19 antivirus engines.
Https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/c67 ... /detection
I distributed my protected program and went out to be chased by customers all day long. Is there a virus?
I hope that you really need to improve this problem.
Originally, I was very confident about your products.
Now I feel like I have spent a lot of money on my own problems!
I even wonder if the products I bought are pirated and there are so many misjudgments.
If there is no updated version of VMP, let me test
Still can provide a stable version before 3.0 to me
Otherwise it really makes me very troubled!

Re: Microsoft anti-virus misjudged my protected software...
Please provide us more detailed information about your VMProtect license (unfortunately we didn't find your email in our customer database). Anyway, I don't see "false positives" from most popular antiviruses (like Kaspersky, ESET, Avira, etc.), so it seems that you showed us really crap antiviruses and the Microsoft's antivirus is one of them.
Re: Microsoft anti-virus misjudged my protected software...
This is my license message and purchase message.
Re: Microsoft anti-virus misjudged my protected software...
You said that you can't see the "false positives" of most popular anti-virus software (such as Kaspersky, ESET, Avira, etc.), so it seems that you have shown us the real anti-virus software, and Microsoft's anti-virus software is among them. one.
However, Microsoft's anti-virus software features please do not underestimate this problem. I have received anti-virus software from the built-in anti-virus software system from most WIN10 operating systems.
As long as I enabled the vm feature and I just used the VMProtectBeginMutation option, Microsoft's antivirus software must return a virus.
Maybe you think this is not a very important issue.
You have to know that WIN7 will stop updating in January next year. The new operating system users will be large-scale WINDOWS10.
This means that there will be large-scale WIN10 users using Microsoft's own anti-virus software.
If this problem is not solved
Version 1150 of this VMP 3.4 is not a software worth spending and I am very disappointed
I hope that you can submit a stable version of the old version. The current 3.X version of the protected VM core is not enough to circulate in this market.
Otherwise I have to apply for a refund
Thank you!
